Visibility & Accessibility
The value of having officers on bicycle patrol is that it provides high visibility, accessibility, and increased mobility in our downtown area. The bicycle patrols have also added the opportunity for officers to patrol the West Orange Bike Trail that travels through our inviting downtown area.
The bike patrols have provided the officers with the perfect vehicle for community oriented policing and problem solving by allowing direct interaction with the citizens of Winter Garden.
