Roadway Safety
The Traffic Units primary job is to keep those that are traveling on the roadways in Winter Garden as safe as possible. This is done by selective enforcement and education. They also investigate traffic crashes and have specialized training in traffic homicide investigations.
In addition to their traffic enforcement duties, members of the unit provide security escorts for visiting dignitaries; participate in community relations, and educational events at local schools.
