ADULT RUNNING, CONDITIONING, AND INJURY PREVENTION
Adults will have personalized training in a group environment to improve fitness, conditioning, and running. They will learn how to run more effectively, lose weight through running, and learn to prevent injuries. It will be a 3-week conditioning course that builds skills each week to improve overall physical fitness.

AMAZING ATHLETES MULTI-SPORT PROGRAM
Amazing Athletes is a fun, active multi-sport class that empowers kids through the fundamentals of sports and physical fitness. Children will develop core skills in up to 10 different sports—including soccer, basketball, football, and volleyball—through age-appropriate lessons in a non-competitive, educational environment. In addition to sports skills, our “Muscle Zoo” animal characters introduce kids to muscle groups and healthy foods, helping them understand how their bodies work and what fuels them to play their best. It's a great way for young athletes to explore new activities, build confidence, and discover what they love! *This program is an indoor program but may move outdoors if weather permits.

BEGINNER TO INTERMEDIATE ARCHERY
Beginner to intermediate archers, children and adults, will learn to shoot compound bows without sighting devices. There will be shooting games. All equipment is provided. Participants will learn to shoot bullseyes without sighting devices. Participants get proper instructions and techniques and then they go into their archery games.

KARATE ZOO
In Karate Zoo we teach the fundamentals of martial arts to children in a high-energy progression-based program. Students learn and practice the traditions & skills of the sport and receive colored belts and stripes for their achievement. Each skill introduced is designed for progression with beginner, intermediate, and advanced modifications allowing each student to progress at their own pace in a mixed ability group setting. Inspired by the traditions & practices of martial arts, Karate Zoo is designed to benefit a child’s physical, social & emotional development while building confidence & teaching practical life lessons. KICKBALL – ADULT LEAGUE
Gather your friends and come out to play the game we all remember from grade school which has evolved into today's hottest get-together sport for adults. Anyone can play from the less experienced to the diehard. This is a great way to stay in shape, meet new people, and have fun! Come out and KICK IT with our Thursday night co-ed league.

MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL RUNNING CLUB
Participants will receive training that develops speed, stamina, and develop an understanding for fast-twitch and slow-twitch muscle fibers. The 4-week program will conclude with a Versatility Contest that will test abilities in the 100 meter and mile events. A male and female Versatility Champion will be determined for ages 11-14 and ages 15-18.

PICKLEBALL 101
This course will introduce players to pickleball beginning with the very basics. The course will consist of 3 classes, each 1.5 hours in length. It will include instruction on rules, equipment, basic shots, strategies, skills, and techniques associated with pickleball. The goals of the course are to enable the students to participate confidently, with an understanding of the game along with possessing the necessary technical and tactical skills for open and/or doubles play.

PICKLEBALL 102
This course will build on the fundamentals that were learned in Pickleball 101 and will delve deeper into various shots, court positions, strategy, and rules to increase the skill level of the players. The course will consist of 3 classes, each 1.5 hours in length. It is designed for players who have been playing for less than a year or desire to elevate their game. These players are more interested in improving their shots, knowledge of the game, developing game strategies, working on techniques, and gaining confidence to a point they feel they are participating equally with players during open and/or doubles play.

PICKLEBALL ADVANCEMENT
This course will focus on advancing your game by working on the strategy and theory of pickleball. It will provide in depth discussion and explanation during simulated games and specific scenarios. Each 1 class session will be 1.5 hours in length. The Pickleball Advancement course is designed to assist players who consistently play and are interested in elevating their game by providing a better understanding of the nuances of pickleball.

This 3 week course is designed for those who have been consistently playing for over a year and would like to improve their game. A minimum 3.5 skill level is recommended. The course will consist of 3 classes, each 1.5 hours in length. For those who are not sure of their ranking, consider your current playing side at Veteran’s Park. If you are currently playing on the Competitive side or feel you are ready to move on to the Competitive side, the course is for you. The course will focus on strategy, pickleball theory, advancing skills and techniques.

SUPER SOCCER STARS
Super Soccer Stars is a soccer development program for children 12 months – 4 years old. All classes teach soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive and educational environment. Through our age - specific curriculum we use soccer to nurture and build self-confidence and teamwork. *This activity is an outdoor activity but may move indoors in the event of inclement weather.

Hit a grand slam with our spring and fall adult softball! Leagues are available for all skill levels. Church, Men’s and Co-ed leagues offered Monday - Thursday. Gamers will meet and practice each week to train for a team tournament that will be held on the last class of each session. Upon joining the club, children 6 - 14 years old will build friendships while also learning and developing leadership, sportsmanship, and teamwork when engaged in video game play.

Gamers will meet and practice each week with other gamers to train for a tournament that will be held at the end of the season to measure the progress of the gamers in Fortnite. Upon joining the team, children 8 - 14 years old will build friendships while also learning and developing life skills such as sportsmanship and teamwork, which in turn will help create better gaming habits.

YOUTH RUNNING AND CONDITIONING PROGRAM
A 4-week course that builds skills with each session. It develops runners through running games. The following skills will be developed: proper breathing, gait analysis, injury prevention strategies, running mechanics, and development of speed and endurance. Runners will become faster and feel more comfortable and efficient with running. This course has been shown to have a 2-16% rate of improvement from Day 1 through Day 4 in running speed and efficiency.

UMPIRES AND SCOREKEEPERS NEEDED
The City of Winter Garden is currently looking for paid Adult Slow-pitch USSSA Softball Umpires and Scorekeepers to participate in games at Braddock Park and Veterans Memorial Park on the evenings of Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Experience for these roles is preferred but not mandatory. Training will be provided. These positions are open to ages 18 and up.
