City Publications

The most widely known activity handled by the Office of Communications & Marketing is the coordination of the City publications. News You Can Use is mailed with the monthly utility bills and the City of Winter Garden News is a biannual publication with Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter editions. Winter Garden E-News is a monthly electronic newsletter that provides current news, event information, and more about your hometown. Art in Public Places at City Hall

The City’s Art In Public Places program offers art exhibits in the City Hall Lobby throughout the year. The "Artists’ Calls" provides an opportunity for local artists to present their pieces of art to be displayed for the public at least once a year. Each Artist’s Call features a theme related to the Winter Garden community. Other exhibits are provided by the Winter Garden Art Association, Winter Garden Heritage Foundation and the Crealdé School of Art.

Celebrating Preservation Month: Photography of the Historic District 

May 2 – June 30


An exhibit of photographs depicting the process of last year’s re-survey of Winter Garden’s commercial and residential historic districts, along with photographs of historic structures that represent the region’s pioneer beginnings. Hosted by the City of Winter Garden and the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation, the exhibit includes the winning entries of the 2021 Historic Preservation Photo Contest conducted by the City in celebration of National Preservation Month and the re-survey.


At the Movies: Winter Garden’s Silver Screens

July 1 – August 31


For over a century, residents have enjoyed cinematic fare and more at a variety of venues, from the days of Norma Shearer’s silent films through today’s high tech live performances. Presented by the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation, the exhibit features photographs and artifacts that bring to life the history of Winter Garden’s theaters.
