Criminal Investigations Division

Last Update: January 15 2019

InvestigationsThe Winter Garden Police Department has adopted a “crime/investigator based” investigation philosophy. By assigning responsibility by crime designation, an investigator develops an expertise in his/her field, thereby becoming more effective and efficient in solving crime specific to their assignments. Investigators assigned to these specific areas will be responsible for addressing certain suspects and their respective trends/habits, also known as “modus operandi.”
