Message from the Chief

Last Update: June 11 2012

Welcome to the Winter Garden Police Department’s Website.  I trust that you will find useful information about the various components of the department and what we are doing to maintain our high quality of life within the city.

Winter Garden is a rapidly growing community that is located approximately twelve miles west of Orlando, in West Orange County, and is approximately ten miles north of Walt Disney World.  We have an historic downtown district that serves as the centerpiece for the city’s character and ambiance that has become a popular tourist destination, and is also a popular destination for those utilizing the Orange County Bike Trail.

The information presented in this Website chronicles some of the ways we currently serve the community.  You will be able to view the crimes that have been reported in your neighborhood and you will be able to register for crime alerts or important public safety messages.  There are also pages containing our contact numbers, e-mail addresses, our organizational layout and facts that you may find interesting or helpful.

The Winter Garden Police Department strives to build partnerships with the various business and residential areas to enable us to work together to maintain our safe community.  By working together we can go forward with a feeling of great confidence, knowing that our common goal is to make the City of Winter Garden the best small city in the State of Florida.

The dedicated men and women of the police department are proud to provide professional law enforcement services to our community.  We would appreciate hearing from you as to how we might serve you better and encourage you to contact me or any other member of the department.

Sincerely,

George A. Brennan
Chief of Police
