Join the Citizen’s Police Academy!

Ever wonder what goes on inside your police department?  Get your questions answered at the next Citizens Police Academy class!

 

This is a 9-week course metting every Wednesday evening at the Winter Garden Police Department training room from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.  The classes are instructed by Winter Garden police officers and staff who will discuss such topics as crime prevention, defensive tactics, uniformed patrol, special operations, criminal investigations, drug identification, and many other interesting topics.  Also available is a ride along with a uniformed police officer.

The next Citizens Police Academy will begin on March 28, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. at the Winter Garden Police Department training room.  The graduation will take place on May 23, 2018.  Anyone interested in participating in the next Citizens Police Academy class must complete an application and send it to:
